ABOUT
Hey! I’m Nicola Gaea (pronounced guy-uh) - a London-based musician and multidisciplinary creative.
My music blends Reggae, Jazz, and 90s Soul influences with emotionally honest lyrics - creating my own interpretation of modern alternative soul music. My debut EP Rise was supported by Help Musicians, the MOBO Awards, and BBC Introducing, and featured in Wonderland, Clash, and New Wave Magazine.
Outside of music, I work as a multidisciplinary creative - my work spans Directing, Creative and Production. I’ve directed projects for artists like Tay Iwar and Becca James, plus campaigns for brands including BBC Children In Need, Sony, Habitat, Pinterest and Kurt Geiger. I’ve collaborated with organisations like TAG agency, WE ARE SOUL, JCDecaux, Marmalade Collective, Black In Carnaby, the National AIDS Trust, and The National Gallery.
